3DA: How did you start working in 3D field? How much time has passed and what kind of studies did you do?
MB: I began working with 3d-graphic in 2005 when I studied architecture at the university. They did not teach us even the basics of 3Ds Max there and I had to find all the info myself, mainly online. I was really impressed by the projects of the great 3d-maestros and I devoted all my free time to learn 3Ds Max.
3DA: Which are your favorite software and plugins for your daily projects?
MB: I try to use many different software to achieve my goal, but I prefer 3Ds Max, Vray, AutoCAD for drawings and also Photoshop. Such things as Marvelous Designer, ZBrush , Fusion I use when its needed.
3DA: Tell us something about a project that gave you great satisfactions
MB: I like all my projects because I love my job. More difficult the project is, the more interesting it is to make it. The worse design-concept is given by the client, the more challenging is to present it the best way that even the client could not imagine. It’s my job – to show the best quality no matter what.
3DA: From where do you take inspiration for your artworks?
MB: The mood of the project often is influenced by customers, because they want to see what they have in mind. But if I feel that I am able to bring in the project something more, I do what I consider best and usually the clients are happy in this situation.
3DA: How do you live this period of economic crisis? How is it in your country?
MB: I started working as a 3d-artist during the crisis period – I did concentrated on technical planning before. Nevertheless I feel quite secure during the crisis, I think it has more impact on those who do not put their soul in their projects. In my country architectural visualization has quite good demand and I am thinking about working also in Europe, that’s my dream.
3DA: What would you suggest to people that are approaching to 3D and architecture?
MB: I consider myself also a beginner, I have more to achieve and a lot of things to learn in CG. And the only thing that I can advice is that people who just started working in 3d even after 10 years would want to grow and continue learning.
