3DA: Why have you decided to work in 3d-field and when have you started?
AF: I’ve been a student of architecture and architectural visualization is the most important part of an architect’s project. So I decided to concentrate on a better demonstration of my ideas and entered architectural visualization field 3D in 2006. I’ve enjoyed this decision ever since.
3DA: Describe to our readers your usual workflow
AF: My work begins with final architectural plans. First precise modeling of the entire project and then all the materials, lighting and architectural details are rendered. Then the final render “goes” to Photoshop for post production – this part of the work is my favorite.
3DA: What was most difficult for you when you just started working in 3D? And what is now?
AF: When I started, the hardest was 3D modeling of modern architecture, e.g. projects like Bryka towers. But I could solve this problem by trying hard. Now I am sure that the hardest part of the work is the post-production.
3DA: Looking back on your education process what you would have changed now? And what you consider right and would do exactly the same?
AF: Thanks to the education that I had in the past, I am very experienced and I’m able to handle a project more accurately. I consider most important the accuracy and work effort. Of course I plan to continue self-education and growing within my profession forever.
3DA: Which was the biggest problem that you faced working on a project and how have you solved it?
AF: Each new architectural visualization project that I start brings new problems – the only solution is to watch more movies and works of other artist to develop taste and “eye”.
3DA: What forecast you can make about the future of 3d-world in general?
AF: I hope that the completion of the new rendering engine Octane 3D will cause a big change in the CG field. Let’s wait and see.
