3DA: Why have you decided to work in 3d-field and when have you started? Where you studied?
MZ: I tried to bridge the gap between the imagination and reality by giving virtual picture of what the client expects out of his project, that is why I started developing my 3d skills since 2006. I studied in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and online courses
3DA: Describe to our readers your usual workflow.
MZ: I begin with doing some conceptual sketches, then I start to convert these sketches to autocad 2d. I usually use autocad 3d and 3d max for modeling, vray engine for rendering and photoshop, after effect for post production. I believe that any project is a piece of art that can’t be done by more than one person, I don’t delegate any of the work steps to anyone.
3DA: What was most difficult for you when you just started working in 3D? And what is now?
MZ: The most difficult challenge when I started was achieving realistic impression. It took me long time to reach the skills that I have now. The real challenge though to every architectural project on 3d field is time.
3DA: Looking back on your education process what you would have changed now? And what you consider right and would do exactly the same?
MZ: As I said earlier, I believe that every 3d project is a piece of art that needs a skilled craftsman who earned his experience from a master in the field. I wish I had an opportunity to meet a master at my beginning – it would saved me a lot of time. The thing I would like to keep is the passion I have to my career in the 3d field.
3DA: Which was the biggest problem that you faced working on a project and how have you solved it?
MZ: The biggest problem I faced was getting good quality in short time and it was solved only by hard work and no sleep.
3DA: What forecast you can make about the future of 3d-world in general?
MZ: The 3d field is developed everyday, so I think one day the time problem will not exist anymore with the help of growing technology.
