NEW SKETCH-UP 2015

Finally SketchUp 2015 was introduced. New features in Trimble’s modeling software include:

• 64-bit version for Windows and Mac machines
• Rotated Rectangle tool – allows to draw precise rectangles unbound by default axes
• 3-point Arc tool – defines bulges by choosing three points
• Fast Styles badge
• Overhauled LayOut’s Label tool
• IFC file import (SketchUp Pro Only) – exchange information between SketchUp and other “BIM” applications in both directions
• Enhanced Classifier tool – for applying industry standard types that stay with your model as it travels between BIM tools
• New Ruby API features – to help SketchUp extension developers create tools that manage layers, classifications, section cuts and more
