A total of 856 projects from 51 different countries were submitted to the 2018 animago competition this year. An independent animago jury consisting of experts in the fields of film, post-production, industrial visualization as well as science and education was responsible for selecting 36 nominated projects. Following that, the prize-winning productions in a total of ten categories – animation and still, visual effects, visualization and VR/AR/360° – were defined. And finally, the winners of the animago AWARD 2018 were awarded their trophies on October 25th evening in Munich.
