3DA: How did you start working in 3D field? How much time has been passed?
FG: I started in the 3D field about 5 years ago. After working with several good companies I had a chance to create my own called Blackhaus that is a group of artists for the creation of high end digital sets.
3DA: Which are your favourite software and plugins for your daily projects?
FG: At the Blackhaus, we used to work with many plugins to reach a better result in a faster time consuming, the bests I could mention are PS, After, unfold 3D, some scripts to 3ds Max purpose, as floor generator, relink bitmaps, etc.
3DA: Tell us something about a project that gave you great satisfactions
FG: We just had finished at the Blackhaus an awesome project that for sure was a project that made us learn a lot. The project was a video for a client that had to show in cinematographic way their pieces of design. The hardest part of the project was our short deadline,
We had 15 days to finish the entire project; it was very crazy but so much interesting and exciting. Soon it will be launched on our page.
3DA: From where do you take inspiration for your artworks?
FG: Our inspiration comes from so many fields. Everybody here at the Blackhaus is in love by photography, drawing, cinema, illustration. A good way to find inspiration is to look carefully by the masters, I Particularly we admire so much painting, I like to look for the way the old masters treat their pieces of art, I can mentioned the work on Caravaggio, Modigliani, etc. And finally we love music, working with music is the best way to keep on the road.
3DA: What would you suggest to people that are approaching to 3D and architecture?
FG: You have to study a lot, to enjoy what you’re doing and mainly try to find the best field on the market that makes you happy and makes you anxious with new challenges. Every project that involves us at Blackhaus has always new challenges; In This way we are always facing new problems to solve and challenge ourselves to learn and train more and more.
